Emmy Award-winning lead vocalist GREG "BAKE" BAKER

Greg “Bake” Baker (lead singer) is a tour de force. By night, as lead singer of Bake & the Tenderhearts, “Bake” sings pitch perfect falsetto so true and clear that you will do a double take and ask yourself, “Is that Smokey?” By day, Greg is Executive Director of the Negro Leagues Museum. Greg has received a multitude of awards in both business and music including an Emmy Award for his work on KCPT’s “Remember Me KC”. Greg is a genuine altruist who thrives on making other people’s lives better. Through Bake & the Tenderhearts, Greg continues his lifelong mission by donating a percentage of proceeds to various charitable organizations.

Valery Price (singer) is a musical perfectionist and world traveler. She has performed in venues across the globe. Her diverse artistic background has helped her in performing Jazz, Swing, Blues, Motown, Country, and Contemporary R&B. Notable accolades include Pitch magazine’s 2004 “Best Female R&B Performer” and The Kansas
City Star cited Valery as one of Kansas City’s emerging artists in 2006.

 

Consummate showman, second tenor JASON GOODMAN

Jason Goodman (second tenor) is “Mister Energy” on stage and sings with remarkable enthusiasm. Jason’s many other passions include being a personal trainer, actor, coach, business consultant, model, and motivational speaker.

 



Electric, first tenor DAVID SMITH

David Smith (first tenor) started singing at the age of 4 and has not slowed down since then. He sang with many groups in high school and was voted as the “best singer” in his class. He has continued to sing with a variety of groups in the Kansas City scene. David has a calm yet polished style in his performance. He has received rave review for his electrifying vocals.
